What's New: Winter 2021
By John Nichols
Every holiday season we like to give thanks to those who helped make it another great year. From our outstanding clients to our innovative team, we have a lot to be grateful for. At Simon Quick, our mission is to give our clients the freedom to pursue what matters most to them, and this year we created a video to share our story and our purpose. This new video, below and on the homepage of our website, explains why we do what we do and what motivates us to serve our clients every day.
We also created five educational videos on the services page of our website to help visitors learn more about our approach, fiduciary management, family engagement, financial planning, and investment advisory services. We aim to be helpful to prospective clients looking to make an informed decision when selecting a wealth manager.
So as we wrap up this year, we hope you will take some time to watch these new videos, and read on to learn about all of the happenings at Simon Quick throughout the second half of 2021.
Simon Quick in the Community
Record-breaking golf outing
Every year since 2011, we have hosted The Simon Quick Annual Charitable Golf Outing to raise funds for charitable organizations in the Morris County Area. This year, we were thrilled to bring together our investment managers, clients and business partners at Plainfield Country Club. The proceeds from the outing went to support nourish.NJ, a community-based nonprofit organization creating lasting solutions to hunger, homelessness, and poverty in the Morris Country area.
We're proud to announce that this year's outing raised over $75,000 - the largest amount in its history! Despite the amount listed on the presentation check in the photo above, several last-minute donations pushed our fundraising total higher. Since its inception, our annual charitable golf outing has raised over $630,000 for local charitable organizations.
Bowl-a-Thon Winners
Our team was thrilled to participate in Cornerstone Family Program’s 14th Annual Bowl-a-Thon. The event was attended by over 100 bowlers and helped raise over $50,000 for the non-profit organization. Simon Quick finished the evening by taking home the Highest Scoring Team Trophy! We're already looking forward to next year's event for a chance to defend our title.
