Community Service

Serving the communities in which we live and work everyday

Our Community Service Initiatives

Initiatives born from our core values.

Simon Quick believes that serving the communities in which we live and work is a key part of our responsibility as an organization. The act of giving back is prevalent throughout our leadership team and employee base, it is an embodiment of our company culture. Our mission is to strengthen our communities by supporting, both financially and through volunteerism, various local organizations that share our company’s values.

Simon Quick Cares is a program in which the firm and its employees can make an impact through community service/engagement and donations.

Community Service Day

Simon Quick closes its doors for one afternoon every summer to lend our time to a non-profit in need. Our most recent community service days included putting on a field day at Cornerstone Family Program’s Neighborhood House and performing clean-up and maintenance duties at the Bonnie Brae School.

Golf Outing

Each year, for the past 11 years the firm hosts a golf outing in which all proceeds are donated to a selected organization. In recent years our recipients have included, JBWS, the Covenant House, nourish.NJ, and Dress for Success of Northern NJ. As of 2023, we have raised over $780,000 for local charities.

Financial Support

Employees and clients alike submit requests for donations to the leadership team. We have a long history of supporting organizations that are near and dear to the hearts our team members and clients.

Scholarship Program

Our community engagement efforts seek to support and build bridges with underserved populations in the Morristown area. Starting in 2021 Simon Quick began offering one Morristown High School graduating senior a partial scholarship to cover undergraduate expenses. By awarding our Emerging Leaders in Business and Finance Scholarship it is our sincere hope to demonstrate our support for minority students interested in pursuing a career in business or finance.

Volunteer Time Off

Simon Quick leadership encourages employees to participate in non-company sponsored volunteer activities by providing paid time off. Employees may take off up to 8 hours per calendar year to volunteer for an organization in need.
