Biography
Thomas Trynin is a Partner at Simon Quick Advisors, where he advises high-net-worth individuals and multi-generational families on investment strategy, wealth planning, and the long-term stewardship of their financial assets. He works closely with clients and their professional advisors to implement tax-efficient investment strategies and sophisticated wealth transfer structures designed to preserve and grow capital across generations. Tom sits on Simon Quick’s Innovation Committee.
Tom brings nearly 40 years of investment and advisory experience spanning institutional trading, corporate leadership, and private wealth management. He began his career at Morgan Stanley as a bond trader before being appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of PageNet Brasil Ltd., where he led the company’s first international expansion. He later held senior roles in investment consulting and real estate investment management at Exim Partners Consulting, Millennium Partners, and Alliance Acquisitions.
In 2012, Tom co-founded Red Hook Management, building it into a trusted advisory firm serving high-net-worth clients. The firm’s success led to its merger with Simon Quick Advisors in 2022.
Tom earned a BA in Economics and Political Science from Yale University and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds the Series 65 license and is actively involved in alumni and charitable initiatives. Tom lives in Madison, New Jersey, with his wife Robin and their daughter Sadie.
