Thomas N. Sorrentino, CPA

Mr. Sorrentino joined Simon Quick in May 2025 and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for overseeing the corporate and private funds’ finance, accounting, and tax functions. He also supports the firm’s strategic growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Simon Quick, Mr. Sorrentino spent over 9 years at Fir Tree Capital Management, a multi-strategy investment manager. His responsibilities included overseeing the financial reporting, accounting and operations functions for all investment vehicles as well as the management company, alongside other business development efforts and initiatives. Mr. Sorrentino began his career at Ernst & Young in New York City as part of the Wealth & Asset Management Assurance practice. There, he managed external audits of financial services companies, including hedge funds and private equity funds.

Mr. Sorrentino graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a dual major in Finance and Accounting. He holds an active CPA license in the state of New York and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He remains an active alumnus of the Boston University Questrom School of Business and Xaverian High School. Mr. Sorrentino resides in Montclair, New Jersey with his wife, Rachel, and two daughters. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, and exercising.
