Sydney McGrew, CFP®

Ms. McGrew joined Simon Quick Advisors in May 2022. Ms. McGrew is currently an Associate on the Client Advisory team.  She is responsible for supporting the Partners and Client Advisors in assisting with financial planning for clients, implementing investment plans, preparing investment performance reports, and coordinating client communications. In addition, Ms. McGrew is part of Simon Quick Women@SQ Committee. It is dedicated to enhancing the personal and professional lives for female clients and business partners. Sydney completed the Financial Planning Certificate Program at NYU and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner in April of 2024. Ms. McGrew is based in the New York City office.

Prior to joining Simon Quick, Ms. McGrew worked as a Client Advisor Associate at Wilmington Trust in their New York City office. While working there, Ms. McGrew supported four wealth advisors and serviced over 100 clients. In her previous role, Ms. McGrew prepared client presentations, facilitated client communications, executed money movement, and updated the new business pipeline. She gained invaluable experience working with high-net worth individuals, foundations, and endowments.

Ms. McGrew graduated in 2020 from Washington and Lee University with a Business Administration Major degree. While at Washington and Lee, Ms. McGrew was an active member of the multiple internal committees and tutored at the local elementary school in town. Additionally, Sydney held the leadership position of recruitment chair in her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. Ms. McGrew is currently serving as a 2020 class agent focusing on fundraising for Washington and Lee’s annual fund. Ms. McGrew enjoys her free time by spending time with family and friends, traveling, and cooking.
