Biography
Nate joined Simon Quick Advisors in 2025 as the Managing Director and Client Advisor for the Dallas office, helping to drive Simon Quick’s expansion in Texas and surrounding states. Nate is responsible for delivering the Simon Quick approach to wealth management: personalized planning, thoughtful investment strategies, and fiduciary advice — all backed by the strength of a privately owned and nationally recognized Registered Investment Advisor. In his role as a Client Advisor, Nate regularly works with a diverse group of clients, including entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and business owners. He guides them through a process-driven planning approach designed to identify, prioritize, and track their goals, yielding a more efficient investment philosophy customized to their specific needs. Nate then works with his clients to implement efficient wealth transfer strategies to support their families today and build a lasting legacy for the future. With deep experience in retirement, insurance, tax, estate, wealth transfer, and philanthropic giving strategies, Nate is passionate about solving his clients’ most complex financial problems. His commitment to creating exceptional ‘Advisor Alpha’ means he is often his client’s first call for any financial question or concern.
Before joining Simon Quick, Nate spent 12 years at Northern Trust, most recently as Managing Wealth Advisor for the Dallas market. There, he led a team of advisors overseeing $5.5B in AUM and played a key role in implementing the firm’s planning and technology across the western U.S. As an active leader, Nate was instrumental in developing Northern Trust’s NextGen practice, where he mentored rising professionals and helped build a strong internal network. Prior to his time at Northern Trust, Nate worked at The Watchman Group, a Dallas-based , as Principal Investments Officer and Lead Financial Planner. Having spent his entire career serving clients in a fiduciary capacity, he’s a firm believer in the RIA model.
Nate holds a BSBA from The University of Dayon, with a double major in Entrepreneurship and Leadership Management. He earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2013 through Southern Methodist University. In 2020, after years of helping families build and implement advanced estate strategies, he also earned the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) designation from the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC). Nate has been involved with multiple professional and charitable organizations in the Dallas area, including the DFW FPA, the Dallas Estate Planning Counsel, the George W. Bush Library 43 Club Executive Committee, Cornerstone Foundation in south Dallas, the DFW Chapter of PanCan, and Community Partners of Dallas.
Nate lives in Coppell with his wife. In his free time, you can find Nate on the golf course or taking his two rescue dogs, Milo and Maverick, on a walk.
