Larissa A. Mehlfelder, CFP®, BFA™

Ms. Mehlfelder joined Simon Quick in 2009 and currently serves as a Principal and member of the firm’s Executive Committee. She plays an active role in guiding the firm’s strategic direction and long-term vision, while helping drive alignment and consistency across the Client Team. As a member of the Client Advisor Leadership Team, she works closely with advisors and departments across the firm to elevate collaboration, strengthen planning capabilities, and ensure a cohesive, high-quality client experience.

As a Client Advisor, Ms. Mehlfelder provides comprehensive, strategic guidance to individuals and families, delivering sophisticated advice across all areas of financial planning, including investment strategy, risk management, estate and tax planning, retirement planning, and charitable giving. Known for her high-touch approach and strong client relationships, she integrates technical expertise with thoughtful behavioral coaching as a Behavioral Financial Advisor™, helping clients make confident, values-driven financial decisions.

Ms. Mehlfelder is deeply committed to building a culture of excellence and accountability within the firm. She is passionate about creating alignment across the team, strengthening leadership capabilities, and supporting initiatives that enhance both client outcomes and the employee experience. In 2025, she completed the Charles Schwab Executive Leadership Program, further strengthening her ability to lead teams and advance the firm’s long-term growth.

Ms. Mehlfelder earned a BS in Finance with a minor in Mathematics from The College of New Jersey. She completed Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Program for Financial Planners in 2011 and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional in 2012. She earned her Behavioral Financial Advisor™ designation in 2021.

She lives in Chester, New Jersey, with her husband and two sons. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and embracing her role as a proud soccer mom. She is also an active member of the Associate Board of Ambassadors for the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center and supports the mission of Cornerstone Family Programs.
