Larissa A. Mehlfelder, CFP®, BFA™

Ms. Mehlfelder joined Simon Quick in 2009 and became a Principal of the firm in 2019. As a Client Advisor, she works with clients to help them achieve their financial objectives. She advises clients in all areas of financial planning including customized investment portfolios, risk management, estate planning, tax planning, retirement planning and charitable giving. As a Behavioral Financial Advisor™, she focuses on integrating traditional finance practices with the emotion of investing by helping clients align their behavior with their overall goals. As a member of Simon Quick’s Financial Planning Committee, Ms. Mehlfelder helps to create a holistic and consistent client experience for the firm by providing tools, resources, guidance and knowledge across all disciplines of financial planning. Ms. Mehlfelder also sits on Simon Quick’s Women@SQ Committee and Operating Committee.

Prior to joining Simon Quick, Ms. Mehlfelder worked at other boutique financial advisory firms where she gained valuable experience monitoring client investments and spearheading strategic marketing efforts. She also spent time in the Private Investors Operations Group of BlackRock, Inc. where she was responsible for reconciling trades, creating metrics and training fellow employees.

Ms. Mehlfelder earned a BS degree in Finance with a minor in Mathematics from The College of New Jersey. She completed Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Program for Financial Planners in 2011 and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner in 2012. In 2021, she became a Behavioral Financial Advisor™.

Ms. Mehlfelder lives in Chester, NJ with her husband and two sons. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling and supporting Cornerstone Family Programs.
