Joe Petrone

Mr. Petrone joined Simon Quick as Director of Technology in March 2021, where he leads the firm’s internal technology strategy and oversees operational platforms, systems architecture, and the support desk. In this role, he ensures the firm’s technology ecosystem remains secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. In addition to managing the firm’s core systems, he is accountable for its cybersecurity posture and the implementation of best practices across the organization. He plays an active role in educating team members on technology and cybersecurity topics, fostering a culture of shared responsibility around data protection and security. With a user-first mindset, he focuses on creating durable, thoughtfully designed solutions that improve efficiency and transparency across the firm.

Prior to joining Simon Quick, he served as the Deputy Head of IT for Great Bowery, a global creative artist representation agency. There, he was instrumental in building the global technology team and driving the firmwide transformation of the technology infrastructure.  During his tenure, Joe managed multidisciplinary projects ranging from website development and rollouts to major improvements to the business’ security framework.

He earned his BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. In his free time, Joe enjoys video and board games, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Michelle, and their son, Ben.
