Biography
Ms. Puleo joined Simon Quick (formerly William E. Simon and Sons) in June of 2015. As Vice President of Tax in Simon Quick’s Family Office team, she leads the delivery of high-touch tax services for the firm’s most complex and sophisticated clients. She has built deep institutional knowledge and plays a central role in managing and coordinating the tax compliance, planning, and reporting needs of high-net-worth individuals and their related entities, including trusts, partnerships, corporations, and private foundations.
Ms. Puleo is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end tax process for Family Office clients, working closely with advisors and external service providers to ensure accuracy, consistency, and a seamless client experience. She is known for her ability to manage complex tax matters, anticipate client needs, and deliver a “white-glove” tax experience that minimizes client burden while maintaining the highest standards of quality and timeliness.
In addition to her client responsibilities, Ms. Puleo contributes to the continued growth and evolution of the Family Office by enhancing internal processes, improving cross-team collaboration, and helping define scalable best practices for tax coordination. She also serves on the firm’s Client Experience Committee, where she contributes a client-focused perspective to initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall client experience across the firm.
Prior to joining Simon Quick, Ms. Puleo spent seven years as a senior tax accountant at a boutique CPA firm in New York, where she worked extensively with high-net-worth individuals and their related entities across a wide range of tax matters.
Ms. Puleo earned a B.B.A. in Accounting from James Madison University, where she was an active member of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and running.
