We are honored to share that William E. Simon Sr., father of Simon Quick Partner Peter Simon and Partner Emeritus William E. Simon Jr., was inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame at the 17th Annual Induction Ceremony on November 21, 2025, at The Arena at American Dream. Hosted by New Jersey native Danny DeVito, the ceremony celebrated individuals whose achievements have shaped public service, business, sports, arts, and culture.
Inducted under the category of Public Service, William E. Simon Sr. is recognized for his distinguished career as the 63rd United States Secretary of the Treasury, his influence in business, and his lifelong commitment to philanthropy.
A pioneer in both public service and private enterprise, Mr. Simon co-founded Wesray, an early leveraged buyout firm. He later went on to co-founded William E. Simon & Sons, establishing a family office to steward and grow the family’s wealth. That organization later merged with Simon Quick Advisors in 2017, helping shape the firm we are today.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Simon devoted his life to helping others. Through the William E. Simon Foundation, he championed faith-based initiatives, education, healthcare, and community development. His belief in empowering individuals and strengthening families has influenced generations and continues through the philanthropic efforts of his children and grandchildren.
At Simon Quick, we are privileged to honor the legacy of William E. Simon Sr. His values, integrity, service, generosity, and purpose, continue to inspire our firm and the families we serve.
Congratulations to the Simon family on this extraordinary and well-deserved recognition.
