We are pleased to announce that Tom Morr, CFP®, CAIA and Wayne Yi, CFA, have been promoted to Partner effective as of January 2023. These promotions mark the first time since 2013 that an employee of the firm has been named Partner (3 strategic hires have joined Simon Quick as Partners since that time). 

At the end of the year, we like to take a moment to reflect on the events and opportunities that shaped our firm throughout the year. 2022 was an eventful year, and we are proud of our growth and grateful for the outstanding clients we work with every day. Simon Quick Advisors is growing. As of April 1st, Simon Quick has merged with Red Hook Management, an independent wealth management firm that shares our values and focus on family wealth.

Cybercrime has been on the rise for years, but a variety of factors have resulted in recent spikes in cybercriminal activity. The pandemic is one of these factors.

Every holiday season we like to give thanks to those who helped make it another great year. From our outstanding clients to our innovative team, we have a lot to be grateful for. At Simon Quick, our mission is to give our clients the freedom to pursue what matters most to them, and this year we created a video to share our story and our purpose. After taking a pandemic-induced hiatus, Simon Quick once again has office locations in New York City and on Long Island. Our firm has a long history of serving clients in the New York metropolitan area, so we are thrilled to offer the convenience of these locations to our clients and business partners.

After a year of delays due to the coronavirus, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics officially concluded with the closing ceremony on August 8th. For two weeks, all eyes were on the 11,000 athletes who competed in the games, and it was easy to see how the years of rigorous training,  mental strength, and highly tailored goals put these athletes on the path to success. There are lessons we can all learn from these athletes - the importance of establishing goals and priorities in our everyday lives.
