Succession planning is important for any business, but it’s especially critical for family businesses. Unfortunately, many family business owners put off succession planning due to concerns about disrupting family relationships. 

Every year since 2011, we have hosted The Simon Quick Annual Charitable Golf Outing to raise funds for charitable organizations in the Morris County area. Last year we made the tough decision to shift to an online fundraiser. However, we are excited to announce that this year the event will be in-person at Plainfield Country Club, which will follow all COVID safety protocols as defined by the state and the club. The outing will support nourish.NJ, a community based nonprofit organization creating lasting solutions to hunger, homelessness, and poverty in the Morris Country area.

When I sat down to write our last edition of What's New at Simon Quick? the world was just beginning to come to grips with the COVID-19 pandemic, which continues to impact all of our lives. Since then we've witnessed nationwide protests and a U.S. presidential election like none other.

However, this year we have shifted to an online fundraiser to support nourish.NJ, a community based nonprofit organization creating lasting solutions to hunger, homelessness and poverty in the Morris Country area.
