Valerie Cortes

Valerie joined Simon Quick in April 2025 and supports Leslie C. Quick III, Founding Partner of the firm, and Managing Director Christopher Moore. She manages complex calendars, travel, meetings, and special projects, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Previously, she spent 11 years at the global law firm Dechert LLP, where she supported the Co-Chair and senior partners in the Private Equity and M&A groups. Her experience in fast-paced, high-level environments has made her a trusted and resourceful partner.

She holds a degree from Hunter College. Outside of work, Valerie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and trying out new baking recipes–often with delicious results.
